The main production and bottling facility in Merseyside was experiencing problems from the valley gutters. The gutters had become corroded and had a large number of remedial treatments undertaken. Leaks were being experienced in a number of locations.
NWIR Limited attended site and undertook an investigation of all valley gutter areas. Diagnostic survey techniques confirmed the build-up of the gutter. Once all options had been considered including options for coating the gutter or possibly replacing with new. The HD Sharman Plygene system was specified. This solution proved cost effective, could be installed with minimum impact on operation’s below and provided a long term 20 year warranty.
